Alexandra joined Peterson Paletta Balice in 2024 after working for the Kent County Office of the Defender for three years where she zealously represented individuals charged with a range of misdemeanors and felonies.
In addition to her work with the Office of the Defender, Alexandra focused on public interest and criminal law when she worked for the Office of the State Appellate Defender where she assisted on numerous appeals for clients convicted of crimes.
At Peterson Paletta Balice, Alexandra has expanded her practice into family law by representing individuals going through divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and adoption matters in addition to continuing to represent individuals charged with crimes in the state and appellate courts throughout the State of Michigan.
Alex focuses her practice in the following areas:
- Criminal Defense. Alexandra aggressively represents clients throughout the state of Michigan charged with misdemeanors, felonies, drivers license restoration/appeals, probation violations, and more.
- Criminal Appeals. Alexandra represents clients throughout the state of Michigan in the criminal appellate process that have been convicted of crimes. Alexandra previously worked for the DePaul University College of Law Advanced Criminal Appeals Clinic and the Office of the State Appellate Defender where she assisted in the representation of numerous clients on appeal.
- Family Law. Alexandra represents individuals in divorce cases, child custody matters, child support, alimony and complex property division.
